Choi was removed from Friday's game against the Blue Jays due to a sore left knee, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Choi went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored prior to leaving the game with a knee issue. He'll be considered day-to-day until more information on his availability is revealed.
