The Rays reinstated Kim (back) from the injured list Friday.
Kim will end up missing only the minimum amount of time after landing on the injured list last Friday with lower-back tightness. He'll reclaim the starting shortstop job now that he's healthy and aim to build some momentum after going 2-for-9 with four walks since the All-Star break.
