The slugging third baseman went on an impressive tear over the last 13 games of May, compiling a .372 wOBA, three homers, 10 RBI and a 39.6 percent hard contact rate in his 60 plate appearances over that span. While his .242 average remains a work in progress, the veteran has lowered his strikeout rate from last season's 21.0 percent to 18.0 percent while upping his walk rate from 6.1 percent to 10.2 percent.
