Miller went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in Saturday's 6-0 victory over the A's.
The 26-year-old shortstop is still largely struggling at the plate, but is starting to slowly claw his way out of the .185 hole he'd created during the first month of the season. Miller has his average up 19 points to date in May and launched three homers during the current month. He's already matched the five RBI he tallied in April as well, but his plate discipline still has considerable room for improvement. Miller's May strikeouts (10) are currently outnumbering his hits (nine), and he's whiffed in seven consecutive games.
