Taveras is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
Taveras sat the previous two games against a left-handed starter, but his absence from Sunday's lineup comes against righty Caden Dana. Taveras has a .780 OPS in his past six games, but it appears he won't have an everyday spot in the lineup down the stretch. Travis Jankowski is starting in center field and batting ninth.
