Sborz was optioned to the Rangers' alternate training site Friday, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.
Sborz led the Rangers with six relief appearances to begin the season but posted a 7.20 ERA and 1.60 WHIP in five innings. He'll attempt to work on things at the team's alternate training site after Joely Rodriguez (ankle) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Friday.
