Jung said after being removed from Tuesday's game versus the White Sox with left calf tightness that he expects to be OK, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.
While the injury looks to be minor, Jung's history of calf issues meant the Rangers were not going to be taking any chances. With the Rangers being idle Thursday, there's a high probability Jung will be held out of Wednesday's lineup. The club could have more information on their third baseman's condition pregame.
