Pederson will head to the bench along with fellow left-handed hitters Evan Carter and Nicky Lopez while the Angels send southpaw Yusei Kikuchi to the bump. Logan O'Hoppe will fill in for Pederson as the Rangers' designated hitter and will bat seventh.
