Latz preserved the lead and secured the five-out save, his first save of over three outs since Aug. 15. The 30-year-old struck out Andruw Monasterio to escape a bases-loaded jam in the eighth, then punched out two more in the ninth for his 30th save. The southpaw sports a 2.00 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 76:22 K:BB over 67.1 innings this season.
