The Rangers recalled Harris from Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday.
Harris will reach the majors for the first time in his career after spending the entire season with Round Rock, slashing .272/.355/.391 with 53 RBI across 486 plate appearances. Most of his starts this season have come as an outfielder, but he may be asked to handle third base occasionally until Ezequiel Duran returns from paternity leave.
