The Rangers transferred Jansen (forearm) to the 60-day injured list Wednesday.
Jansen has been on the injured list since June 6 due to a strained right forearm. His move to the 60-day IL will make him ineligible to return until Aug. 5, though he's likely to remain on the shelf beyond then after suffering a setback in his recovery last week. The Rangers traded for Logan O'Hoppe to fill the vacancy on the 40-man roster.
