Despite a 3-for-4 performance with a walk and two runs scored Tuesday, Seager will sit out Wednesday's series finale. The 32-year-old has played in five consecutive games since being activated off the injured list July 31. Nicky Lopez will handle shortstop duties and bat seventh for Texas.
