Rangers' Carlos Perez: Hits disabled list

Perez was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right ankle sprain Saturday.

Perez suffered the injury during Friday's game against the Rockies. Jose Trevino will be the Rangers' backup catcher in Perez's absence.
