Pirates' Ryder Ryan: Clears waivers, heads to Triple-A

The Pirates outrighted Ryan to Triple-A Indianapolis on Friday.

Ryan will remain in the organization after he cleared waivers earlier in the week. The right-hander posted a 5.29 ERA and 1.41 WHIP in 17 innings out of the Pirates bullpen before he was designated for assignment.
