Bachar will draw his eighth opening assignment of the season after giving up just two earned runs in 9.2 innings across his last five outings. He tossed 28 pitches in 2.1 frames during his most recent appearance Saturday and will likely have a similar workload Thursday before handing the game over to Carmen Mlodzinski.
