Palacios signed a minor-league contract with the Pirates on Tuesday, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.
Palacios played in Pittsburgh during the 2023 and 2024 campaigns, and he'll now get another shot at returning to the big leagues after slashing .339/.434/.621 across 145 plate appearances with the Staten Island FerryHawks of the independent Atlantic League. He'll report to Triple-A Indianapolis.
