Triolo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
Since the start of August, Triolo has been seeing fairly steady playing time between shortstop and third base, but his opportunities appear to have taken a hit since Konnor Griffin was reinstated from the injured list Friday. Triolo will head to the bench for the second time in three games while the Pirates go with Griffin and Jacob Gonzalez as their starters on the left side of the infield.
