The Phillies activated Trivino (back) from the 15-day injured list Monday and designated him for assignment.
He's overcome a back injury, but Trivino will clear off the 40-man roster as the Phillies make space for their new acquisitions. Trivino has allowed 10 runs with a 7:7 K:BB across six frames for Philadelphia this season.
