Phillies' Cristopher Sanchez: Tagged with sixth loss

Sanchez (7-6) took the loss Friday against the Guardians, giving up three runs on eight hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out two.

Sanchez got little run support, as he ended up with the loss despite tossing a quality start. He's lost three of his last four starts after a streak of 11 consecutive outings without a loss. The 27-year-old remains a steady option with quality starts in nine of his last 14 starts, and he's allowed just three home runs in 115 innings this season. Sanchez will take a 3.05 ERA into his next start, tentatively scheduled to come against the Yankees.
