Brogdon was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right groin strain Wednesday, retroactive to Sept. 13.
Brogdon pitched well recently, as he posted a 1.69 ERA and 0.84 WHIP in 10.2 innings across his last 10 appearances while working mainly in lower-leverage situations. Right-hander Ramon Rosso was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to take his place in the bullpen, and it's not yet clear whether Brogdon will have enough time to return in 2021.
