Medina pitched 3.2 innings, surrendering one run on four hits and two walks while striking out three in Tuesday's win over the Orioles. He did not factor into the decision.
The 24-year-old operated as the opener in this one, only giving up an RBI-single to Ramon Urias in the top of the fourth inning. He has now pitched 5.2 innings while giving up one run since being recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sept. 11. He is expected to start again Sunday versus the Pirates.
