Nola (11-6) allowed four runs (three earned) on nine hits and three walks while striking out four over five innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Diamondbacks.
Nola yielded multiple homers for the sixth time this season and has now given up nine long balls over his last eight starts. He's lost his last two outings and hasn't won in five starts, giving up 15 runs (14 earned) over 27.2 innings in the longer span. For the season, Nola has pitched to a 3.60 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 138:37 K:BB through 147.1 innings over 24 starts. He's projected to make his next start at home versus the Nationals.
