Alvarez first struck in the fourth inning. With two men on, Alvarez belted a 97 mph fastball out to left for the three-run shot. He also managed to go yard in his next at-bat. With the bases empty, Alvarez blasted another 97 mph fastball out to left. He finished 2 for 3, with two runs scored and four RBI.
