Bogaerts is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.
Bogaerts will hit the bench for the first time since July 6 in what appears to be a routine day of rest for the veteran infielder. Sung-Mun Song will draw the start at shortstop in place of Bogaerts.
