The Padres activated Taylor (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Sunday.
Taylor will make his first appearance in the majors since going down with a right oblique strain July 8. In 102 major-league plate appearances this year, the 27-year-old is batting .330/.410/.398 with one homer, 11 RBI and six stolen bases. San Diego transferred Luis Rengifo (knee) to the injured list, making room for Taylor on the active roster.
