Vasquez (4-7) took the loss against the Rays on Saturday, allowing nine runs on 11 hits and four walks with three strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Vasquez was staked an early 2-0 lead but yielded a career-high nine earned runs despite allowing just one home run. Over his last 10 starts, the 25-year-old has allowed three earned runs or fewer eight times but also surrendered 15 total earned runs in two disastrous outings. On the season, he owns a 5.18 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 58:28 K:BB across 92 innings and lines up to face the Giants at home next weekend.
