Laureano went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Giants.

Laureano gave the Padres some breathing room with his eighth-inning blast. This was his second multi-hit effort in five contests this season, and he's added two home runs, four RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base while batting .389 so far. Laureano was given a full day off Tuesday and started at designated hitter for the first time this season Wednesday. While he may not play the field all the time, he should be in the lineup most of the time, as long as he continues to hit well.
