Miller struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Saturday to record his 36th save of the season in a 7-6 win over the Giants.
The right-hander had a little difficulty controlling his triple-digit heat, going to full counts against two batters and throwing 17 pitches (nine strikes) in total, but Miller prevented things from getting out of hand. Since the beginning of August, Miller has delivered a 2.04 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 32:8 K:BB over 17.2 innings while converting eight of 10 save chances.
