Sanchez (foot) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Sunday.
Sanchez was lifted early from Friday's game against the Dodgers with a right foot contusion after fouling a ball off his foot. Though X-rays came back negative, the backstop will still require a trip to the disabled list in order to allow his foot ample time to heal. Luis Torrens will act as the team's primary reserve catcher in Sanchez's absence.
