Padres' Austin Hedges: Gets $3 million from Padres

Hedges agreed to a one-year, $3 million deal with the Padres on Friday, avoiding arbitration, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

This is Hedges' second year as an arbitration-eligible player. He will go through the process two more times before hitting the open market after the 2022 season.
