Orioles' Pete Alonso: Extends hit streak with homer

Alonso went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Blue Jays.

Alonso cut a 6-1 deficit in half with a 421-foot blast in the sixth inning. It extended his hitting streak to 10 games, a stretch that includes three homers, seven RBI and eight runs scored. On the year, the slugger is slashing .246/.325/.452 with 13 long balls, 40 RBI, 38 runs scored and two steals across 280 plate appearances.
