Rondon was designated for assignment by the Orioles on Tuesday.

Rondon was DFA'd to make room for Vance Worley, who the Orioles claimed off waivers from the Pirates. In 14.3 innings with the Rockies and the Orioles this season, Rondon posted a sky-high 13.19 ERA and 2.58 ERA.
