Tate is expected to miss a couple days of workouts while he contends with a sore throat, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
At this stage, the minor illness isn't expected to affect Tate's availability for the start of the regular season. Tate is viewed as a possible candidate for saves out of the Baltimore bullpen in 2022, though Cole Sulser and Tanner Scott look to be better bets at the moment to see the bulk of the work in save situations.
