Adams is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.

The Nationals are kicking off a three-game set versus Miami with a day game, so Adams will receive a breather after he caught all nine innings of the team's 7-4 loss to the Rays on Sunday afternoon. C.J. Stubbs will draw the start behind the plate in the series opener.
