Adams exited Tuesday's contest against the Marlins in the bottom of the second inning with an apparent groin injury, Spencer Nusbaum of The Washington Post reports.
Adams took a foul ball off of his inner groin in the second, ultimately requiring him to exit the game. The catcher went hitless in his only at-bat, and he was replaced behind the plate by Jorge Alfaro.
