Corbin (2-12) took the loss Monday, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings against the Giants. He struck out six.
Things went awry for the veteran southpaw out the gate, as he allowed a leadoff 416-foot homer to Tyler Fitzgerald. Corbin allowed another homer of the three-run variety to Matt Chapman in the third inning, cementing his 12th loss, tying him for the most in the league. It's been another rough season for the 35-year-old, as he now sports a 5.88 ERA and 1.52 WHIP across 127 innings on the year. Corbin is currently scheduled to face the Angels at home in his next start this weekend.
