Abrams is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees, Spencer Nusbaum of The Washington Post reports.

Abrams went 0-for-8 with a couple strikeouts in the first two games of the series and will be given a day off in the finale. Nasim Nunez is getting a rare start at shortstop in Abrams' place, and rookie Dylan Crews will move up into the leadoff spot.
