Tigers third baseman Miguel Cabrera (abdomen) remained affixed to the bench and could not start Sunday against Cleveland, MLB.com reports. It is his second consecutive day of rest.
Cabrera is day to day for the Tigers, who may rest him some more going forward to ensure his health for the stretch run. He is batting .358 with 43 homers and 130 RBI.
