Megill (3-6) allowed four runs on five hits and four walks while striking out two over four innings as he took the loss against the Brewers on Friday.
Megill struggled to keep the ball in the yard Friday, letting up three solo home runs. Kolten Wong took him deep in the first and then Willy Adames and Christian Yelich went back-to-back off him in the third. The Brewers then got to him again in the fifth after Yelich led off the inning with a triple and later scored. The 25-year-old Megill also struggled with his control; his four walks were the most he's had in a start this season. Megill has struggled mightily since late August with a 2-4 record, 7.85 ERA and 1.67 WHIP over six starts. He's allowed at least four runs each time he's lost over that span and will look to turn things around when the Marlins come to town next week.
