The Mets reinstated Mauricio (thumb) from the 10-day injured list Wednesday and optioned him to Triple-A Syracuse, Andrew Tredinnick of The Bergen Record reports.
Mauricio fractured his left thumb, resulting in an IL stint that began May 3. The 25-year-old was originally recalled April 23 to the big-league club in place of the injured Francisco Lindor (calf), who was just activated Wednesday. In 76 plate appearances for Syracuse, Mauricio has slashed .304/.355/.594 with six homers.
