Gsellman (2-2) allowed three runs on eight hits while striking out just two batters over five innings during Saturday's win over Miami.
The Mets posted five runs in the bottom of the first inning, so Gsellman was handed an easy avenue to picking up the win. He's been underwhelming this season with a 6.75 ERA and 1.63 WHIP while allowing a .310/.372/.512 slash line to opposing hitters over his six starts. A road date against Milwaukee is up next for Gsellman, which doesn't project as the easiest matchup with the Brewers sporting a respectable .328 wOBA at Miller Park.
