Mets pitcher Rafael Montero was able to throw on Tuesday and hopes to throw off the mound on Wednesday, according to ESPN.com.
Montero is currently on the 15-day DL with a shoulder injury and has not thrown since going on the disabled list on April 30. Montero is 0-1 with a 4.50 ERA in 10 innings of work this season.
