Blackburn (hand) allowed one run over 6.2 innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday.
Blackburn needed only 75 pitches to navigate through 6.2 innings. It should be the only rehab outing he needs before rejoining the Mets' rotation, although the exact date of his return hasn't been ironed out yet. Blackburn has missed the last two weeks of action with a right hand bruise.
