Mets' Luisangel Acuna: Rejoins big club

The Mets recalled Acuna from Triple-A Syracuse on Monday.
Acuna, who has seen the vast majority of his playing time at second base with the big club this season, is expected to occupy a bench role in September. The 23-year-old righty hitter hit .303 with zero home runs and eight steals in 28 games at Triple-A and has batted .239 with zero home runs and 12 steals in 175 plate appearances with the Mets in 2025.
