Brazoban is slated to undergo an MRI on his oblique area Wednesday and could land on the 15-day injured list, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.
Brazoban apparently suffered the injury during his relief appearance in Tuesday's win over the Phillies. The Mets have already recalled Kevin Herget from Triple-A Syracuse to provide the team with a fresh arm in the bullpen for Wednesday's series finale and did not announce a corresponding move. Brazoban appears likely to lose his spot on the active roster prior to the game, whether it's due to a stint on the injured list or a demotion.
