The Mets recalled Senger from Triple-A Syracuse on Monday.
He'll serve as the backup catcher behind Francisco Alvarez after Luis Torrens (forearm) was placed on the injured list in a corresponding move. Senger has slashed just .174/.216/.188 in 30 games at the big-league level in 2025.
