The Mets reassigned Blanco to minor-league camp Sunday.
Blanco received an invite to spring training after signing a minor-league deal in December, yet he did little to illustrate he should be in the majors with a .194/.206/.194 slash line over 34 plate appearances. The 35-year-old should serve as organizational outfield depth, assuming he remains with the Mets.
