Diaz (back) felt much better Monday after leaving Sunday's game against the Phillies with back tightness, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
The initial diagnosis didn't seem like a particularly significant injury, and it appears as though Diaz is already trending in the right direction. The righty pitched both Saturday and Sunday, so he was unlikely to pitch Monday even if fully healthy.
