Benge is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta.
The left-handed-hitting Benge isn't always shielded from left-handed pitching, but he'll head to the bench Monday while Atlanta sends southpaw Martin Perez to the bump. With Benge out of the lineup, Tyrone Taylor will pick up a start in left field and will bat seventh.
