Lopez (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
The move frees up a spot on the 40-man roster, but Lopez remains eligible to return this season since he's already been on the shelf more than 60 days. The right-hander is scheduled to pitch to batters Saturday as he nears the final stages of his rehab work.
